The AeroFlo™ BethGon Coalporter® is a member of the Coalporter line of lightweight, high capacity coal cars. AeroFlo™ gets its name from an aerodynamic, smooth-side design that reduces wind resistance and locomotive fuel consumption.

FreightCar America's double twin tub floor design adds up to 21 tons of capacity over conventional steel gondola cars.This design also lowers the AeroFlo's™ center of gravity for a smoother ride and a resulting reduction in wear and maintenance costs.Coal transporters find this feature particularly beneficial when their gondolas operate in long haul, high wear, unit train service. The car also features FreightCar America's patented cold rolled, high strength center sill.
