FreightCar America, Inc. Promotes Bridges and MagolskeFreightCar America, Inc. (NASDAQ: RAIL) today announced that Kenneth D. Bridges, senior vice president of operations, has expanded his plant management responsibilities and Charles J. Magolske has been named vice president – business development and strategy. Bridges, who has managed FreightCar America’s Danville, IL and Roanoke, VA, manufacturing facilities, now assumes the responsibility for managing the Johnstown, PA, manufacturing operation. He will also be responsible for coordinating activities among all three facilities. “I am pleased that Ken will now be applying his considerable world-class manufacturing expertise at all three of our plants,” said Chris Ragot, FreightCar America’s president and chief executive officer. Magolske, previously managing director, international, was promoted to vice president – business development and strategy. In his new position, he will be responsible for strategic planning, identifying business opportunities, and developing investment strategies. He will also continue to be responsible for international business development. FreightCar America, Inc. manufactures railroad freight cars, with particular expertise in coal-carrying railcars. In addition to coal cars, FreightCar America designs and builds flat cars, mill gondola cars, intermodal cars, coil steel cars and motor vehicle carriers. It is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois and has manufacturing facilities in Danville, Illinois, Roanoke, Virginia and Johnstown, Pennsylvania. # # # |
